This Award was given for the Telecommunications Team for their outstanding work on the conversion of the Indian Health Service conversion of the 345 node Nation Wide Network that supports the health care of the American Indian and Alaska Native population. During the 24 hour shift of the 2000 new year the team monitored and turned the entire network so as to prevent and unusual betwork outages all handled by 8 team members.
